The Gilmer Cartecay Youth Mountain Bike Team in collaboration with the Gilmer County Parks and Recreation Department are pleased to announce the Gilmer Trail Rangers. The Georgia Cycling Association’s Trail Ranger program provides a fun and safe environment for 2nd - 5th graders to experience the joys of youth mountain biking. The program is designed to introduce kids to the fun of mountain biking. The program emphasizes play and connect as its core theme and focuses on skill development through gameplay, making new friends, and fostering a love of the outdoors.

Local Play & Connect Sessions: Mondays @ 5:30PM

March 16, March 23, March 30, April 13, April 20, April 27, May 4, May 11

Expeditions:

April 18 , April 25, May 9, May 16

Fees: $185 paid to Georgia Cycling covers cost of the program.

Financial Aid & Loaner Bikes are available through Georgia Cycling.

In addition, Team Cartecay has limited financial aid available. Please contact the team directly to inquire.

A functioning bike and helmet will be needed for participation.
